What are the advantages of a Webinar?
Webinars are delivered over the Internet, so no travel and all the participation. Webinars take place from your desk and pre and post handouts are in PDF format, emailed to attendees.
After each Webinar, email reminders are sent to keep learning alive and motivation high.
Webinars offer an easy means for participants to engage with the speaker as well as one another. Using discussion group technology, everyone can still explore issues, share their knowledge and benefit from a relevant Powerpoint presentation.
What equipment do you need?
All you need is a current Web browser, a connection to the Internet and a set of headphones with microphone and you're all set.
How long does a Webinar last?
Each webinar lasts for 1 hour and 15 minutes including question and answer time.
Can a Webinar be as effective as a live workshop?
Face-to-face, workshops continue to be the most compelling way to learn. However, webinars provide supplementary coaching, save on travel and are a great alternative professional development.
Webinars do not try to emulate face-to-face workshops, but rather capitalise on the characteristics of the Web to offer interactive training.
How many people can participate per registration?
Just like a live workshop, each webinar can accommodate up to 25 people, each participant must register separately.
